Jacob is a 22-year-old homelessness advocate, legal assistant, and notary signing agent who works tirelessly to end the whole-person trauma of homelessness through systems-level change. Serving as the Secretary Emeritus of the Austin Youth Collective to End Homelessness (AYC) and a representative on the Continuum of Care Leadership Council, Jacob leverages his lived expertise to advocate for realistic, life-saving solutions for Austin’s unhoused population. His leadership has been instrumental in the community, from mobilizing full-scale non-profit responses during the 2022 and 2023 severe weather crisises, to engaging stakeholders in pursuit of a $15 million grant to end youth homelessness in Austin. Driven by a deep commitment to systemic reform, Jacob's mission is to show the world that being unhoused is never a person's whole story—in fact, it’s barely the prologue.
We charge forty dollars ($40) an hour for consulting services, which ranges from giving input on policy to on-the-ground support.
